With the weather as changeable as a builder’s quote, it was really good to play on a beautiful sunny morning!

Playing off the green tees for a Seniors’ competition, a field of 72 were keen and raring to go.

Ian ‘Moneybags’ Clement, our Seniors’ Treasurer, finished top of the pile with a fine gross 91 and scored 42 points, relegating Steve Cockle into second place on countback. Ray Wilkinson had a close shave and finished third by a whisker with 40 points! The competition top scorers all came from Division Three.

Farrington Seniors lost a very tight Friendly Away to the Isle of Wedmore 4–3 and play Away to Knowle next week in the final game of the season.
