On Sunday, 28th November we met at The Centurion Hotel for an excellent lunch, which was followed by the Presentation of Trophies.

Starting with the Ladies Champion, Rosemary Burchill and runner-up Sheila Davis; Men’s Champion, Dave Yarlett and runner-up Dave Cocks; Ladies 2 wood Champion Sue Burke – runner-up Sheila Davis; Open Champion, Dave Yarlett – runner-up Rosemary Burchill; 101 Champion, Dave Yarlett – runner-up, Thelma Chun; Novices Cup was won by Stewart Macfarlane – runner-up Rosemary Burchill.

The Men’s Pairs was won by Doug Ball and Dave Yarlett – runners-up, Ian Hopson and Dave Cocks; Ladies Invitation Pairs winners, Sue and Dave Yarlett – runners-up, Sue Burke and Ian Hopson.

Two Wood Pairs winners were Yvonne Phillips and Thelma Chun – runners-up Rosemary Burchill and Martin Long; The Centurion Cup was won by Yvonne Phillips, Thelma Chun and Stewart Macfarlane – runners-up Anne Morgan, Ted Davis and Mike Tunnell; Winners of The Club Triples (played this year as 3 Wood Pairs) were Ted Davis and Dave Yarlett – runners-up Sue Burke and Alby George; The Janet Norman Trophy was won by Yvonne Phillips and Dave Yarlett – runners-up Sue Yarlett and Terry Phillips; The Allan Hobbs Trophy winners were Julie Macfarlane and Dave Yarlett – runners-up Anne Morgan and Ian Hopson.

The winners of the Monday Night Competition were Rosemary Burchill, Terry Green and Terry Phillips with Anne Tunnell, Mike Tunnell and Ian Hopson the runners-up.

The afternoon was rounded off with the distribution of raffle prizes and the annual Wine Draw in memory of Gordy Willcox who instigated it in 2009. This year, we were able to provide a second prize of six bottles in addition to the main prize of twelve bottles.
