The Quarter-Final match of the Ladies County Rogers Cup took place at Mendip Golf Club.

It was a very close match, with Wells winning four of the seven matches.

Well done to the team of Abby Gray, Philippa Gowen, Sandy Heath, Jill Bocquet, Tina Davies, Cath Levell and Veronica Cherry.

A small number of players entered the Seniors’ September Medal due to the horrible weather forecast!

Congratulations to those who persevered. Colin Payne won, with a superb nett 66, with Kevin Horrell on 67. Nigel Pring (4) played very well for a nett 71.

Caleb Wickham (13) won the Junior Stableford competition with a brilliant 43 points.
