The Lundy Island Classic 4 Ball Better Ball Competition took place between Christmas and New Year and, as usual, it turned out to be a great day.

Everyone was pleased to be out in the fresh air and there were plenty of fines to raise money for good causes, £400 to be precise. Nick Carter and Graham Bingham claimed the first place, with 47 points on countback from Geoff Spinks and David Sellers. In third place were Steve Clark and Martin Barnes, with Mike Gee and Guy Timson coming in fourth.
