The YMG (Young Masters Golf) Junior Golf Programme is being launched this October at Farrington Park.
The YMG is a fun and exciting way for those aged between four and sixteen years-old to be guaranteed the best possible start in the fantastic sport of golf.
The programme provides a step-by-step progress from ‘beginner’ to ‘advanced’ with instruction from Jonathon Lawrence and Alex Todd, the Farrington Park PGA-qualified Golf Professionals. There are regular competitions, games, tasks, challenges and certificates at each stage. Everyone joining the YMG Academy receives a folder which outlines each week’s lesson and the nine levels they will work through.
YMG is the first-ever structured educational syllabus designed to not only introduce boys and girls to the game of golf, but also help them develop the skills and knowledge of the game. So, it doesn’t matter if they’ve played before or not, there’s a level that will suit everyone’s standard of golf. YMG has been the successful launch pad for the careers of many PGA professionals and even Ryder Cup player, Matt Fitzpatrick.
