John Appleton will be hoping it is third time lucky when the Fosseway Seniors Golf Section holds its March Medal competition.
Appleton, who is looking for his first medal success, was runner-up for the second month in a row when the February medal took place, having been nudged out by Denis White. Both players had nett scores of 59, but White took the medal on countback. Coleford postman, Graham Edgell, was third with a nett score of 62.
This Thursday (February 27th), the Bill Lester Texas Scramble is scheduled to take place.
