Peasedown Albion Youth Team will be holding a fundraising event this Saturday, 1st November, at Peasedown Cricket Club, in aid of CLIC Sargent, who are helping one of their young players to overcome leukaemia.

Peasedown Albion will be holding different events throughout the day, with a twelve-hour darts marathon, from 6 a.m. – 6 p.m. From 1 p.m. – 4 p.m., there is a car boot sale with various other stalls open from 2 p.m. – 6 p.m. and a bouncy castle for the children.

A sponsored penalty shoot-out will also be taking place, with a barbecue and bar, entertainment from T&G, plus Mike Gregory will be entertaining the audience with his darts quiz roadshow, where people play some darts and answer questions for some prizes.

Later in the evening, there will be an auction of sporting memorabilia, which has been donated by some well-known football clubs, ranging from signed football shirts to signed photos. During the day, raffle tickets will be on sale which will be drawn at the end, with local businesses donating some great prizes. Please come along and help support this event. Peasedown Albion Under-15s are also looking for some more players to keep them going this season. Having lost a couple of players, they are hoping someone out there, who might not be playing regularly, would like the chance to join this very exciting team! Contact Lisa as above.
