Division Two was won by Malcolm Srawley with seventy, Steve Cox was second with seventy one and Guillame Lesage was third with seventy two. Division One went to James Church, again with seventy, with Rob Cook second with seventy two after countback from Rob Edney. Best gross score came from Chairman of competitions, Ryan Sainsbury with seventy six. However, the overall trophy went to Simon Wynn with a fine net sixty eight.

The ladies event this week was an Arizona Shuffle team event. Winning with eighty points were Lynn Cox/ Hilary Rowdon/ Jinhee Page/ Anne Hopkins with Anita Butcher/ Diane Stanton/ Pauline Williams/ Val Dixon second with seventy eight.

The Ladies Alliance A Team visited Bristol and Clifton and came away with a fine 9-5 win. Successful for Mendip were Aimee Sawyer, Marian Speed, Vi Hayes and Lynn Cox with Jenny Merrett gaining a half.

The Junior Mendip Vase, an Open event, was only resurrected two years ago after a lengthy absence. This year it attracted a fine entry of thirty two youngsters and saw some staggering performances. Winning with an amazing fifty one points was Maisie Dezis from Farrington. Bo Taylor of Bowood was second with forty eight points and Amber Thorp of Saltford was third with forty one points. Best placed Mendip player was Henry Lewer with thirty five points.

The latest round of the Somerset Junior League took place at Wells and saw Mendip Juniors in fine form, filling five of the first six places. Best score of the day came from Connie Cox with forty two points, Ben Roberts was third with forty, Sam Hughes was fourth with thirty nine, Alec Roberts was fifth with thirty eight and Grant Jeffrey was sixth with thirty six.
