The men’s Wednesday MSL produced mixed results with the ‘A’ team winning away to Norwest and the ‘B’ team losing at home to a strong Paulton side.

Saturday saw our three Somerset league teams in action. The ‘A’ team traveled to Taunton Deane and came away second best, losing on all rinks. The ‘B’ team continued their good form with a win but, unfortunately it was at the expense of our ‘C’ team who, in fairness contained several new bowlers playing their first competitive game. I am told they gave a good account of themselves in the circumstances, so keep going and well done.

The week ended on a high for our Tony Alcock squad with a brilliant, convincing win at home to RBL Portishead on Sunday and progress to the next round against Clevedon.

Two of our youngsters, Cameron and Sam (Reserve) travelled to Ilminster to play for Somerset Youth against Dorset and came away with a close win. The club are very proud of you.
