Ben Hardwick has joined Camvale Tennis Club in Paulton as their new club coach following the decision of Brian Wessell to step down after many years of dedicated coaching.

Ben joins with over ten years experience as a coach in the Bristol area and has recently gained his LTA level 4 qualification and is fully accredited. In addition, this year Ben was recognised as the LTA’s South West Regional winner for the disability award in respect of coaching adult disability groups and visually impaired players.

After his first Saturday morning junior coaching session, Ben said: “I am delighted to be part of Camvale and excited by the opportunity of developing tennis in the area. My coaching ethos is that tennis is a sport for everyone, no matter how old you are, how experienced you are or how confident you are. If you’re willing and wanting to give tennis a go, I’ll be more than happy to help and encourage you!”

A full summer of coaching is starting at Camvale with an adults beginners/improvers session every Friday morning and juniors (aged 6 to 18) every Saturday morning. In addition, junior tennis camps will be held during July and August with the first one starting on Monday, 26th July - 9 am till 1 pm on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
