The Southern League will next season have new sponsors and will be known as the Calor League.
Paulton Rovers Manager, Nick Bunyard, speaking this week, said: "I'm delighted to announce that Ben Lacey has committed himself to Paulton for the 2013/14 season. Ben had a brilliant campaign last season where he was on course to be my Manager's Player of the Year until he sustained a nasty ankle injury, which although he continued to play on, he never really recovered from. Ben is really irreplaceable at our level of football when he's fit. He is an intelligent footballer who works so hard for the team defensively.
"Stuart Tovey has also put pen to paper for the coming
season. He made 45 appearances last season and although he missed games through suspension, he'll be looking to get fit and force his way into our plans for the start of the season."
Mike Perrot is the latest addition to Rovers' squad. Nick said: "I'm delighted to announce the signing of Frome Town player, Mike Perrot. Myself and Milse (Assistant, Paul Milsom) only wanted to add two or three targets to the squad and they were players we felt had the right attitude and personality to fit straight in. Dean Evans and Mike were players we targeted, so we are delighted we've secured them. In terms of adding new faces, we have offers out to a couple of lads, but, financially, we are competing on a different playing field to a few of our rivals.
"In other news, Maizeie Phillips, last season's physio, has left the club and Sarah Clift will step into the role from her position as sports therapist. I'd like to say on behalf of the management team and playing staff, a big thank you to Maizeie for all her efforts and wish her all the best with her future career."
