Midsomer Norton Rugby Club will be fighting for their league future on Easter Bank Holiday Monday. The Tribute Western Counties North side entertain Barton Hill at Norton Down in a must win game, kicking off at 3 p.m. Promoted only last season, Norton need a bonus point win, scoring at least four tries, to secure their league survival. Somer Valley FM are leading the calls for a big crowd to cheer the boys onto success. The community radio station will be carrying regular score updates throughout the match, plus a live internet commentary, featuring lead rugby commentator, Allan Trinder, and Norton Rugby fan, Andy Jeffrey. The commentary will be available to listen online at: http://www.somervalleyfm.co.uk">www.somervalleyfm.co.uk but community radio sports show host, Ian Nockolds, would rather Norton fans made the trip to Norton Down to support their team. "This will be our third live rugby commentary and I could not think of a more important game for us to cover. Rugby commentary is quite a departure from our traditional football coverage, but we couldn't want for a better team than experienced Bath commentator, Allan Trinder, and the irrepressible Andy Jeffrey.
