Norton Radstock Ramblers meet at South Road car park in Midsomer Norton and car share to the start of the walk. Sunday walks usually start at 9.30 a.m., unless stated otherwise, and our Wednesday walks at the time given. If the hot weather continues, please ensure you take plenty to drink, as well as food, and please phone the leader if you need more details of the walk.

Wednesday, 15th August: Tessa (01761 470453) leads an eight-mile walk starting at 9 a.m. This is hilly in places, with good views around Castle Cary and North Cadbury.
Sunday, 19th August: A slightly earlier start at 9.15 a.m. for an 8½ mile walk led by David on: 01761 436503. This will be over Long Knoll and White Downs at Maiden Bradley, just south of Longleat.
Sunday, 26th August: Various walks take place for the Mendip Walking Festival on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, all meeting at Stratton on the Fosse Village Hall. On Sunday, there are four walks: four miles meeting at 1 p.m. – Mary: 01373 474530. The rest meet at 10 a.m.: 6½ miles led by Ken: 01749 670349, 8½ miles led by Alice: 01373 474695 and twelve miles led by Tony: 01761 232715.
