Swimmers Oswin, Lexia, Hannah, Megan, Mollie, Sophie, Jamie, Lucia, Summer, Alicia, Finlay and Evie competed at Millfield School this weekend for the final Open Meet of the year.

Teams from across England and Wales attended the event, and despite being one of the smallest clubs, NRSC certainly punched above its weight! Against stiff competition from major national clubs, NRSC triumphed with an incredible twenty Personal Bests, County-qualifying times for several swimmers, and a bronze medal for Sophie in the 100m Individual Medley!

Fun was had by all the competitors, with a Christmas dance-off to the tune of YMCA and plenty of festive team spirit. A huge thank you to NRSC Team Coach, Kay Willcox, and Assistant, Mollie Hughes, for giving up their weekend for the swimmers. Without such support, NRSC would not be able to enter and perform at such a high level.
