Craig Loxton and John Durbin bring two well known players to Paulton Rovers.

Paulton have signed 27-year-old Joe Morgan (pictured) who hails Radstock and 30-year-old Nick Hewlett both join from Shepton Mallet.

Morgan has been at Shepton over the last seven years making 330 appearances. He has proven to be one of the league’s most consistent and best forwards. An all-round player that brings strength, pace, hard work and goals which he brings to Rovers.

Hewlett is a versatile defender who was previously team captain of Shepton Mallet. A standout performer for the last few seasons, he officially signed for Paulton Rovers last night.

Both are cup tied for Today’s Somerset Premier Cup trip to Keynsham Town, so will join the squad for Saturday’s league trip to Hamworthy United. Both are looking forward to the challenge of stepping up to Southern League football.
