The ham egg and chips were a welcome treat once the teams had dried out.
Saturday saw our A, B and C teams in action. The A team travelled to Ilminster B and came away with a very creditable eleven points, won on two rinks and a draw on the third.
The B team were home to Bath C and won on all rinks for maximum points. Unfortunately, the C team did not fare so well at Frome Park, losing heavily, but there were several new bowlers playing their first games, so well done to them.
Sunday saw our mixed friendly team away to Castle Cary and a wonderful, competitive game was had in a brilliant atmosphere.
Won two rinks and lost two rinks, so it was called a draw.
