On the bowls front, our Mens ‘A’ MSL were home to Prattens and secured a 10-2 win whilst the ‘B’ team traveled to Frome Selwood and lost 0-12.

Thursday saw our ladies county triples team; Ailsa Midwinter, Carol Jenner-Timms and Maureen Withey at home to Alexandra Park, they won convincingly so go to the next round.

Friday our men travelled to Bristol in the ‘Top Club’ and in a very close game, won by one shot. Meanwhile, our Mixed MSL played Alexandra Park at home and won 8-4.

Saturday our ladies ‘Top Club’ team travelled to Clevedon where the game was played in conditions more suited to Water Polo than bowls, Clevedon proved too strong, but the ladies gave a good account of themselves. Well done.
