On the County and League scene, our Ladies County fours valiant efforts finished with the semi-finals against Weston Victoria, nevertheless they deserve a well done for getting that far in the competition.

Thursday saw our Ladies travel to Stothert & Pitt in the NSL and come away with a narrow win of 8-4.

Subsequently, on Friday, the Ladies took on Chew Stoke in the first round of the Fear Cup winning overall by 4 shots, making them progress to the next round.

On the Mens teams, Wednesday MSL saw the ‘A’ team away to Paulton where they won 10-2 whilst the ‘B’ team were home to Prattens and won 8-4.

In the Somerset County league, our ‘A’ team travelled to Watchet, and made the long trip trip worthwhile by winning 8-4 in a hard fought game. The ‘B’ team continued their unbeaten run with a narrow win over Knowle ‘B’ to take all 12 points. Next Thursday, our Tony Alcock team team take on Ilminster on neutral ground at Chew Stoke, 6.00 pm.
