Midsomer Norton U15s 27-24 Burnham on Sea U15s

Midsomer Norton U15’s first home game of the season ended in a well-deserved triumph following a very close game at Norton Down.

Burnham on Sea showed a very strong first twenty minutes, smashing scrums and gaining yards into Norton’s territory.

Midsomer Norton conceived two tries before Paul G scored the first of his two tries in the first half giving Norton the upper hand for the second half. Sonny T drove hard through Burnham’s defence getting Norton’s third try over the line.

Dawid went on to put his stamp on the game by showing Burnham’s defence, his trademark moves and forcing his way through parting players left and right scoring two tries. With Paul G having converted a Norton try, Midsomer Norton were winning 27-24 with ten minutes to go.

Dylan W made a match winning tackle with little on the clock as one of the Burnham wingers that had managed to infiltrate Norton’s defensive line was headed for a last minute turn around in the scoreboard. Every one of the team showed that their dedication over the past months has paid off.
