It has proved to be a very successful October so far for Martyn Cuer in the Seniors section of Fosseway Golf Club.

It began in the winter Bowmaker for the Vic South Trophy when he joined up with Geoff Hallett and Mike Ricketts to win the Stableford event with eighty one points. In second place came Nick Foxwell, Chris Appleton and seniors new boy Dave Peacey with seventy seven points with countback needed to push Alan White, Graham Edgell and Howard Nowell into third place.

Cuer then came first in the October medal by the barest of margins.

Both he and Pat Cray recorded an impressive nett total of sixty two with countback again needed to separate the first two. Foxwell again performed well finishing third with a nett sixty-three. M Tucker
