MENDIP LADIES THIRDS 0 WESTBERRIES 8

The Thirds of Mendip Ladies Hockey faced their second top-two side in as many weeks on Saturday, and were on the receiving end of a heavy defeat. Mendip put in some great individual performances, but Westberries were relentless in their pressure and clinical in their finishing.

This week, Mendip face eighth placed Nailsea at Gordano School, in a bid to consolidate seventh place in Brunel Division Two, starting at 9.30 a.m.

MENDIP MEN’S FIRST TEAM 4 MINEHEAD 1

With just two games remaining in Central Two, Mendip find themselves top of the league after a great team effort against Minehead on Saturday.

This week sees them travel to Bristol University, while the Men’s A team take on Westbury and UB. Carrie Tiley
