League leaders, Chew Magna, were the visitors to Tunley in the new format Division Two Cup.

During the opening spell, Chew demonstrated why they are league leaders, with some great passing and movement. Despite this, Tunley's more direct approach kept the visitors on their toes. Callum Hodge put Chew in front on 22 minutes after a great conter-attack saw Haydon Lyons break down the left and cross for Hodge to place his header beyond the reach of Ryan Edmunds. Tunley continued to battle and although 1–0 down at half-time, took plenty of positives from their performance.

Ed Strange was unlucky not to have equalised just after the restart with a fine individual effort, stepping over a desperate challenge and curling the ball beyond Sam Kirk, only for it to come off the underside of the crossbar onto the post and bounce off the line and back to the keeper. Tunley then had their best spell of the match and were rewarded in the 63rd minute, when Matt Curtis won the ball in midfield and drove forward, setting up Chris Young and despite Kirk getting a hand to the ball, he could not prevent Young from scoring.

The home side then went all out for the winner and Man of the Match, Brad Tyler, caused Chew problems with his running and intelligent passing. Chew did well to soak up the pressure with left back, Jamie Dawson, marshalling the defence. Chew continued to counter and got the winner in the 75th mniute after Marc Beattie was allowed to run through unchecked, heading home from a corner. Tunley never gave up and were unlucky not to have got something from this game.

This Saturday, Tunley are at home to newly-promoted Frome Town Sports, kick-off at 3 p.m.
