Gary Watts made history in winning all three of the billiards individual competitions and it was enough to see him acclaimed Player of the Year when the Radstock and District Billiards and Snooker League held its presentation dinner at the New Inn, Farmborough.

Gary was also a member of the Mardons side which finished runners-up in the Billiards League behind Clutton, who were worthy winners after leading from the front for most of the season. Timsbury B lifted the Billiards Knockout Cup, beating Marksbury in the Final.

Marksbury B were once more Champions of the Division One Snooker League, with Clandown A runners-up, having finished level on points with Mardons D, but winning one more match. Mardons P, who dominated Division Two, completed a winning double after beating Haydon F in the Final. Haydon C, who were runners-up to Mardons P, won the Snooker Plate final, beating Mardons D in the Final. Timsbury H were Champions of Division Three, with Clandown B in second place.

The presentations were made by Roy Powell, who has been associated with the Radstock League for many years and who was also a member of the successful Clutton billiards side.
