Paulton Rovers had another barren weekend when last Saturday's trip to play Taunton Town was called off due to a waterlogged Wordsworth Road.

On Tuesday, 26th March, Rovers were due to be at home to Shortwood United. Going into this game, both sides had played 32 games and were challenging for a play-off place with Paulton, sixth, and the visitors, seventh, two points adrift.

This match was sponsored by Somer Valley FM 97.5. who presented the Man of the Match award, donated by Sainsbury's of Midsomer Norton.

Over Easter, Paulton are away at Evesham Town on Easter Saturday, kick-off at 3 p.m. Details of the coach and departure time is posted in the club.

On Easter Monday, high flying, third-placed Swindon Supermarine come to Winterfield Road, kick-off at 3 p.m.

The Youth Team are at Welton Rovers next Wednesday, 4th April, kick-off at 7.45 p.m. in the Somerset Youth Floodlit League.

Next Thursday, 5th April the First Team have a rearranged home game against Cinderford Town, kick-off 7.30 p.m. That is followed on the following Saturday by another home game with Cirencester Town.

The semi-final of the Somerset Premier Cup against Bath City is at Winterfield Road, 9th April at 7.30 p.m.
