A devoted turnout from Westfield TT saw forty runners representing the local area on Sunday for the Weston Christmas Cracker 10k.
The runners all took part in Christmas-themed fancy dress costumes, and and displayed some committed running under adverse wet, cold and windy conditions, which failed to dampen the Westfield team spirit.
John Reynolds, founding member of Westfield TT, said: “Even though I can’t run, due to injury at the moment, the team filled me with a sense of pride as I watched each and every one of them sporting huge smiles across that finish line.”
For many new members of the group, this was their very first competition run since beginning to take part earlier this year.
