New Midsomer Norton and Radstock Inner Wheel member, Ros Bradbury, has wasted no time in supporting one of its charities, the Piers Simon Appeal, that has nationally sent over 55,000 School in a Bag rucksacks to disadvantaged children around the world.

The ten-year-old organisation, based near Yeovil, was set up by Luke Simon in memory of his elder brother, Piers, who lost his life in the Indian Ocean tsunami.

Each bag is packed with stationery, learning resources and catering utensils to help towards the children’s education and a brighter future – and now, topping each bag, is a knitted teddy bear.
