POLICE have appealed for help in finding a valuable diamond ring which has been stolen from a house in Frome.
Officers investigating the theft of the ring have asked for anybody with information to come forward.
They believe the ring, which was kept in a green pouch, was stolen at some point between July 24 and August 3 this year.
The theft was reported to police in September, when the owner noticed it was missing.
An Avon and Somerset Constabulary spokesperson said: “If you have seen the ring, or have any other information which could help the investigation, please contact us.
“If you can help, complete our online appeals form or call 101 and give the call handler the reference number 5226258057.”
Anybody with information can also contact the independent charity Crimestoppers completely anonymously by calling 0800 555 111 or via its anonymous online form.
Crimestoppers does not take any personal details and information cannot be traced or recorded and callers will not go to court or have to speak to police when contacting the charity.
