A 53-year-old Radstock area man has been charged and will appear in court following a fatal collision on the A361 in Frome in April 2024.
Jobey Jason Smith, of Chilcompton, appeared before Bristol Magistrates Court after being charged with causing death by driving without due care and attention while over the prescribed limit for alcohol.
It follows an investigation into a two-car collision at the junction of the A361 with the A362 on Monday 8 April 2024, in which 25-year-old Natasha Poore, of Evercreech, died.
Smith was released on unconditional bail and will next appear at Bristol Crown Court on Wednesday 11 November.
