Bath and North East Somerset's motorists will have four road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.

But the news isn't too bad, with all of them only expected to cause slight delays, of less than 10 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure already in place is expected to carry on this week:

A36, from midnight, December 19 2022 to 11pm November 23 2023, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A36 Bath to Warminster used by GWR Railway Replacement Buses on Bristol Temple Meads - Frome route.

And a further three closures will begin over the next seven days:

A36, from 9am February 20 to 3pm February 24, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A36 Brassknocker Hill to Limpley Stoke - two-way signals for inspection/surveys.

A36, from 9pm February 21 to 5am February 23, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A36 Brassknocker Hill traffic signals for drainage works.

A36, from 9am to 3pm on March 1, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A36 Claverton traffic signals for maintenance works.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
