Christie & Co has completed on the sale of Peasedown News, a family-run, freehold post office and newsagent.
The established store has been owned by John and Bryony Barker for the past twenty-four years and has become a central part of the community during this time. The pair made the decision to bring the business to market to seek a well-earned retirement from the sector.
John comments: “It is with mixed emotions that we leave Peasedown News. We are sad to say goodbye to the many friends that both Bryony and I have made over the last twenty-four years, but also happy to relax and take things easy for a while. I wish the new owners every success in their future venture.”
The business has been purchased by Mr Sriluxman Srikanthalingam for an undisclosed price.
