ST PETER’S Parish Church in Westfield recently held a Gift Day and Harvest Festival, marking two well-attended community events in the church calendar.
On Saturday, September 27 the church held its annual Gift Day, featuring archive films of the church and past concerts, along with refreshments and an opportunity for the community to meet, raising over £1,200 towards the running of the church.
On Sunday, October 5, St Peter’s Parish Church held its Harvest Festival. The service was attended by the Brownies and Rainbows, who processed with their banners, and the church was decorated for the occasion.
It was led by the Curate, Nathanael, who spoke on the ‘Feeding of the 5,000’. The congregation donated food items and contributed £339.22 to the local Foodbank.
