WESTFIELD kicked off the festive season with its annual Christmas Light Switch On, an event that brought residents together for an evening of music, community spirit and festive celebrations.

On Thursday, November 27, the event welcomed back the Westfield Voices Choir, who once again led the carol singing beautifully, accompanied by the Midsomer Norton and Radstock Silver Band.

Father Christmas joined us with one of his trusty elves, spending the evening chatting to local children and handing out small gifts.

Westfield Primary School contributed to the festivities with a lively performance of Feliz Navidad, followed by an instrumental piece from members of the school band.

The event ended with the countdown to the new-for-2025 Christmas lights, now decorating the tree, Elm Tree Avenue shops, and Wells Road.
