St Peter’s Parish Church, Westfield

WE had a very special service on Mothering Sunday; we were joined by the Brownies and Rainbows and their families.

During the service a spray of flowers was presented to all mothers in the congregation, and these had been made up by a dedicated team, with flowers and greenery.

The services for Easter will be posted on our Facebook page and on our notice boards. As we are now in the Waterside Benefice with St Peters Church Westfield and St Nicholas Church Radstock, we will be having shared services so please check the time and also the location for the service.

Tabor Independent Methodist Church

MRS Margaret West led Tabor’s congregation in worship for the Palm Sunday service, when Palm Sunday hymns were sung. Her address revolved around do we sometimes ‘go with the crowd’ instead of doing what we know is right?

Margaret will also be in the pulpit for the Easter Sunday service on April 5. This service will include Holy Communion.

The Tabor Ringers will not meet for rehearsal on April 6 but will resume on April 13. The group have been hard at work rehearsing for their forthcoming engagements; they would also welcome new playing members. No musical knowledge or previous experience is necessary. Barb on (01761) 752177 can give further information or take bookings.

All are welcome to any of our services or events, details of which are on the noticeboard outside of the Church in North Road, Timsbury.
