Tabor Independent Methodist Church

Mrs Margaret West’s message to the Tabor congregation this week focused on Jesus healing on the Sabbath and how he “saw and touched.” Using everyday illustrations, she showed how, by following His example with a kind word or deed, we might transform a life or give hope to another person.

The next service will be on September 14 at 11 am, led by Mr Eric Barge, and will include Holy Communion.

Everyone is welcome to attend our fortnightly church services or other events, details of which are displayed on the noticeboard outside the church in North Road.

We had a wonderful Communion Service on Sunday, August 31, when our morning worship was led by Rev. Andrew Prout, our Minister. The theme was Our Story, Our Song, which is also the theme from our new leaders voted in at the Annual Methodist Conference.

Wednesday is our Coffee/Tea morning commencing at 10.30am, We haven't met you yet? Now the children are back at school, why not give yourself an hour off and pop in for a chat.

Sunday, September 7, our worship will be led by Tricia Mugridge, while as an advance notice, on Sunday, September 14, we have no morning service, but at 6pm we are having an Autumnal Songs of Praise.
