Many businesses, community halls and workplaces enjoyed coffee and cake last Friday morning in aid of Macmillan’s World’s Biggest Coffee Morning, which is now an annual event, raising funds to support people and their families affected by cancer. Some amazing totals were raised – thank you to everyone who got in touch to report back on their baking bonanza!

The raffle has raised £2,170, which includes £200 donated by Norton Hill Sixth Form, who held a cake sale recently to help the effort. The winner of the Mulberry handbag was Elisha Watts, and the Bath Rugby shirt (pictured in the background) was unbelievably won by the person who donated it! They then auctioned it online, raising another £170 to put towards the total. Photos: Becky Brooks
