A community-led event on education and school funding, which will be open to parents, students, employers, educational professionals and those generally interested in education will be taking place within the next week.
The Impact of Education Cuts on Schools, Teachers and Pupils in B&NES will be chaired by B&NES Councillor, Liz Hardman, and presented by a list of speakers in an ‘open to all’ Forum Event on Wednesday, 27th June between 7 p.m. and 8.30 p.m., held at Saltford Hall, Wedmore Road, BS31 3BY.
Speakers will address the impact on SEN, Staff Retention, Mental Health, Social Mobility, losing budgets for critical and progressive services and accountability on education budget within different school systems.
Forum open questions and answers will debate and consider issues such as whether the current education and budget allocation system is evenly meeting existing education, economic and social need. For details, contact. Joan Liley: 07973 752525 / [email protected]
