LOCAL employers, business leaders and organisations are being invited to take part in Peasedown St John’s first ever Job Fair.

Hundreds of job seekers and potential employees are expected to attend the event.

Cllr Karen Walker said: “At Peasedown’s first ever Job Fair we’re keen to pair up local employers with people living in the community who are searching for new work opportunities.

“There needs to be more opportunities for those looking for work to meet potential employers in a relaxed and welcoming environment.

“If you’re an employer, we’d love to hear from you.”

The Peasedown Job Fair is planned for Saturday, October 10 at Peasedown St John Primary School.
