IN honour of National Fish and Chips Day on the June 6, MP for Frome and East Somerset Anna Sabine has launched the search for the constituency’s “Best Chippy”.

Residents in Frome, Radstock, Midsomer Norton, Peasedown St John and surrounding areas are encouraged to support their local fish and chip shop by casting a vote in the online poll, available via Ms Sabine’s social media channels or here: digitallibdems.typeform.com/to/htCpG5FW

The winning fish and chip shop will receive a certificate from Ms Sabine, a mention in her newsletter, and the prestigious title of Frome and East Somerset’s Best Chippy 2025.

Voting closes on May 31.
