Children from Peasedown St John Primary School have taken part in a special trip to the award-winning Egg Theatre in Bath.

Pupils from the school’s Gold Class were given the opportunity for an afternoon out to watch a performance of Sandscapes – a silent piece of theatre around the sensory and playful experience of sand.

School headteacher Ruth Noall, said: “It was captivating and a real visual and auditory feast. Towards the end of the performance, the children were invited up onto the stage to play with the sand themselves and got to take a bow with the performers.”
