A LOCAL volunteer for Dorothy House is having her hair shaved off to support the vital work by the hospice.

Ainslie Davies is raising money for the charity after losing her friend Chantal to cancer, spending her last days being cared for by the staff at Dorothy House.

The sponsored head shave will take place on July 18 at 3pm at the Dorothy House Clothes shop, Midsomer Norton.

Ainslie said: “My lovely friend Chantal, lost her fight with a second round of cancer and spent her last days in Dorothy House. I visited Chantal, I saw it very first hand and it was outstandingly good.
