New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to eight of North Somerset’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

The following ratings have been given to six restaurants, cafes or canteens:

• Rated 5: Cornish Cabin (The) at Royal Hotel, 1 South Parade, Weston-Super-Mare; rated on June 17

• Rated 5: Mother Hen Coffee and Gifts at Broad Street, Wrington, Bristol; rated on June 11

• Rated 5: Tarantella Ristorante at 29-31 St. James Street, Weston-Super-Mare, North Somerset; rated on June 4

• Rated 5: Nuffield Health Fitness & Wellbeing Gym at 168 Locking Road, Weston-Super-Mare; rated on May 7

• Rated 4: Tesco Cafe at Tesco Stores Ltd, Station Road, Weston-Super-Mare; rated on April 29
