New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of North Somerset’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Costa Coffee, at 56 High Street, Portishead, Bristol was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on June 10.

And Butterflies Coffee Shop, at 77 Hill Road, Clevedon, North Somerset was given a score of three on June 10.

It means that of North Somerset's 287 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 203 (71%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
