New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to 10 of Somerset’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them all.

Restaurants, cafes and canteens

The following ratings have been given to four restaurants, cafes or canteens:

• Rated 5: Somerset Larder at Central Amenity Building Sedgemoor Campus, Power Lane, Bridgwater; rated on July 22

• Rated 5: McDonalds at Motorway Services Southbound, Mendip Road, Rooksbridge; rated on July 14

• Rated 5: Roadchef Motorways Ltd at Motorway Services Southbound, Mendip Road, Rooksbridge; rated on July 14

• Rated 5: Ninja Noodles at 25 High Street, Burnham-On-Sea; rated on July 10

Pubs, bars and nightclubs

And four ratings have been handed to pubs, bars or nightclubs:

• Rated 5: West India House at 101 Durleigh Road, Bridgwater; rated on July 18

• Rated 5: North Petherton Rugby Club at North Petherton Rugby Football Club, Taunton Road, North Petherton; rated on July 10

• Rated 5: The Ashcott Inn at 50 Bath Road, Ashcott; rated on July 10
