The new 300-space public car park is now fully open for patients and visitors to Bath’s RUH.
Work on building a new road has also been completed, meaning drivers can now
access the car park from the main hospital entrance.
A new automated number plate recognition parking payment system is already in place in all RUH public car parks. It is a single system that replaces a mixture of barriers and pay and display machines and means drivers will be able to pay more accurately for the time they have parked. Blue Badge holders will continue to park for free, but will have to register on the new system.
