A new Curo Memory Café for local people affected by memory loss or dementia will be opened its doors in Chew Magna on Tuesday this week.
The free café, run by housing and support organisation Curo, will become a regular event, held on the last Tuesday of each month from 10.45 am until 12.30 pm at the Baptist Chapel on Tunbridge Road.
Curo’s Rural Independent Living Coordinator for Dementia, Peta Rahmatalla, said: “Please come along if you’re worried about your memory, or that of a loved one. We’re here to offer a safe and friendly environment where we can offer support and advice, as well as a cup of tea or coffee. It’s a free event and we welcome everyone, not just Curo residents. Please join us in opening the doors to this brand new Memory Café.”
