Chilcompton Golden Hour members were taken back to the 1950s and 60s when they met last week.

Vince entertained with the songs of Tommy Steele, Elvis, Cliff Richard, Buddy Holly and the Seekers, to name but a few. He was thanked for an evening of foot-tapping songs and community singing.

Members were reminded that subscriptions fees will be due at the AGM on Tuesday 11th April. ‘On the Buses’ will be the title of Alex’s talk afterwards.

Everyone was also asked to look out any photographs they have of the last Coronation in 1953 and bring them and their memories to the May meeting to share.
