A big thank you must go to the donors of the plants, members and non members as well as those who helped on the Friday evening and on the day of the sale.

The first prize in the raffle, a solid wooden handmade planter complete with plants, was won by Kilmersdon resident, Val Candy. Yvonne Kirby seller of the raffle tickets was thrilled to present the planter to a surprised and delighted Val.

Our next meeting is Wednesday, 8th June in the village hall starting at 7.30pm. Our speaker is Duncan Bird who will be talking about the book by Rachel Carson, Silent Spring.

Teas will be served and there will be a raffle.

We are an ‘open to all’ club irrespective of where you live, all are welcome to pop along as a visitor or as a new member.
