Next week, your local Lions International Club, Radstock and Midsomer Norton, will be starting its biggest fundraising event of the year – the carol float collection.

We take our float around Midsomer Norton and the local villages, not only raising funds to support our charity donations, but also bringing the joy of Christmas to children in the area.

We are looking for people to help us in this activity, otherwise we will not be able to cover as much of our area as we would like. You can find the schedule on our website: www.rmnlions.org.uk which also has up-to-date information. You can also find information on our Facebook page.

We collect from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. in the evenings and during the morning on Saturdays. All these depend upon us getting enough help.

You will find us on; Underhill Lane, Midsomer Norton on Wednesday, 4th; Furlong Close, Thursday, 5th; Withies Way on Friday, 6th; Welton Grove, Saturday, 7th; Midsomer Norton, Radstock in the afternoon; Monday, 9th, Spencer Drive; on Tuesday, 10th, High Littleton; Wednesday, 11th, Farrington Gurney and Hallatrow; on Thursday, 12th, Beauchamp Estate and Waterside; Friday, 13th, Paulton; on Saturday, 14th, Farrington Farm Shop; Monday, 16th, Paulton; on Tuesday, 17th, Wednesday, 18th, Thursday, 19th, Peasedown St John; on Friday, 20th, Timsbury; Saturday, 21st, Midsomer Norton Tesco; on Monday, 23rd and Tuesday, 24th.
