Most Tuesday evenings, a car full of singers, travel from Peasedown to Bath to rehearse with the choir. On Saturday, 2nd July the traffic will all be in the opposite direction as this amazing choir comes to St John’s for a foot-stomping evening of brilliant music.
The Hive opened in Peasedown in February 2021 and has become an important local Hub, accommodating the Library, the Post Office and SWALLOW Café. The Hive is used for open access youth sessions on Monday and Wednesday evening and hosts, exercise/dance classes, yoga, art and wellbeing groups. It has a wonderful play area for pre-school children, a large sports hall and outside sports court, all of which are available for local people to hire.
Jill Souter, a resident of Peasedown and a member of the choir says: “This will be a great evening’s entertainment for all the family. There will be interval refreshments and a raffle, so we hope plenty of people will come to support these two charities, which are doing so much for their community.”
