During the lead-up to Christmas, merry makers at the Crossways Tavern, in Midsomer Norton, are helping to give homeless people a better festive season.

Through various promotions and encouraging regulars to bring tins of food for donations into the pub, staff at the Crossways have been gathering food and raising awareness for Julian House, in Bath, a charity that helps homeless people get off the streets.

Sarah Bridges, landlady at the Crossways, said: “Crossway customers are

always ready to donate whenever we ask every year. They are very loyal and we would like to thank them all for their generosity. From myself, Bob and all the staff at Crossways, we wish you a very Merry Christmas.”

Sarah and Bob will be presenting their donations to Julian House on 22nd December. If anyone would like to make a donation, they are welcome to take tins of food to the Crossways during usual opening hours.
